Today i started getting all the parts and panels out to see how much work was needed so i could start prepping them for paint.
Most of the parts and the mainframe will just need a little bit of prep, like pinhole filling etc.
The worst parts look to be the leg shield, side panels and mudguards. They have suffered a bit over the years and need a bit of work!
To start with I’m going to do all the small parts and frame so they are already for etch primer and then a quick blow over with primer and then flat them ready for topcoat. I might spray the frame and all the small parts first and then do the leg shield and mudguards in a separate batch.
